Aunjanue E. Taylor is an American actor-producer and stage actress has been known for her roles in the feature film Ray Undercover Brother as well as on The Mentalist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in African-American Studies from Brown University as well as an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer active in film, theater, and television. Her career began with theater, and was later featured in several television series and independent and mainstream movies. She became famous as Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico in addition to appearing in BET's epic show The Book of Negroes.
